Yacht Share Sydney

The yacht you've always wanted, for a fraction of the cost — and none of the work. BSA yacht share syndicates put you on Sydney Harbour aboard a luxury vessel that's professionally managed, immaculately kept and genuinely yours.

What is yacht share?

Yacht share is fractional ownership: a small group of owners — typically four to eight — each hold a registered percentage of one yacht. You share the purchase price and the running costs, and the syndicate's management company (that's us) handles everything owners hate: berthing, servicing, cleaning, insurance and scheduling.

Unlike charter, you're not renting a stranger's boat for a day. Unlike a boat club, you're not paying fees forever with nothing to show. Your yacht share is an asset — you use it, and when life changes, you sell it.

Walk on, walk off — every time

Every BSA yacht gets 33 dedicated maintenance days a year plus a professional turnover between owners: fuelled, cleaned, checked and photographed. You arrive at the marina, step aboard and go boating. When you're done, you tie up and walk away — the turnover crew takes it from there.

Sydney's premium yacht share fleet

BSA runs one of Australia's largest managed co-ownership fleets — 50+ vessels and 500+ owners nationally, from sports cruisers to flybridge motor yachts. Browse the current Sydney fleet, or tell us the yacht you want and we'll build the syndicate around it.

Frequently asked questions

Is yacht share cheaper than owning a yacht outright?

Dramatically. You pay a fraction of the purchase price for your share, and berthing, insurance, servicing and cleaning are shared across the syndicate instead of landing on one owner. Most owners find they get more days on the water than solo owners do — without any of the admin.

What's the difference between yacht share and yacht charter?

Charter is renting: you pay per day, forever, and own nothing. Yacht share is equity: you own part of the vessel, your costs per day on the water are far lower over time, and you can sell your share when you're done.

Who maintains the yacht?

BSA does. 33 scheduled maintenance days a year, professional cleaning and turnover between every booking, and a maintenance team owners can message directly from the app.

Can I bring guests aboard?

Of course — they're your days aboard your yacht. Many owners entertain clients, host family days or cruise with friends. Skippered options are available if you'd rather host than helm.
