Middle Harbour is the quiet half of Sydney Harbour. You leave the marina into flat, protected water with no swell and no queue — then decide whether to anchor twenty minutes away at Chinamans Beach, run out past Middle Head to Store Beach and Quarantine, or turn left and be under the Bridge inside half an hour.
It is the berth that suits how people actually use a boat. A Saturday with the family needs calm water and a beach twenty minutes from the dock, not a two-hour delivery. The Spit gives you both: sheltered cruising on your doorstep and the whole of Sydney Harbour when you want it.
The Spit carries more BSA vessels than any other location, which matters when you are choosing a share: you are picking from a real range rather than taking whatever happens to be available. Share sizes run from 10% to 25%, so the same marina suits an owner who wants a handful of days a year and an owner who wants most weekends of the season. You buy a registered share in a specific vessel — your equity, in your name, and an asset you can sell. From there a single annual levy covers the berth, insurance, servicing, cleaning, antifoul and management. There is no surprise invoice when an impeller goes, and no marina bill arriving in a month you never used the boat.
Four to eight owners share each vessel. Before each four-month cycle you rank the days you want and the allocation engine balances everyone's priorities, so weekends, school holidays and summer days are distributed fairly over time rather than going to whoever books fastest. Plans change — you can swap days with co-owners in the app.

You need a current NSW boat licence to skipper the vessel yourself. If you would rather not drive, you can book one of our skippers for the day through the owner app.
